WELCOME!
The Dual Carb Registry is a non-profit
organization dedicated to the location, documentation and preservation of 1941-1942
Buick vehicles
equipped with Compound Carburetion. The Registry is made up of Buick owners and
enthusiasts interested in learning more about these cars that were truly ahead of their
time, as well as meeting other owners who share their interest in them.
If you have a '41 or '42 Buick Special, Super, Century,
Roadmaster or Limited, this is your home for Buick news.
The Dual Carb Registry strives to locate
and document every dual-carb Buick built during their war-shortened 2-year production
cycle. Most of these cars are lost to the ages, but many have survived, some still in
daily service around the world. Joining the Registry is absolutely free, and by listing
your car with the Registry, you are entitled to the full-color annual Dual
Carb Registry Yearbook. The Yearbook is a hard
copy of the Registry, including all the data on every car listed, plus options, colors,
ownership history and other interesting facts. It is our sincere hope that the Dual
Carb Registry will become a vital resource for authenticating and tracking
these cars as they change hands in the future.
Please take some time to explore this site and take advantage of
all the resources it has to offer. Join a discussion on the message board or drop us a line to tell us what you think. As
the Registry grows, we hope to become an official affiliate of the Buick Club of America and develop a
strong presence at shows and events. If you own one of these great cars,
join us. If you don't own one, look around and perhaps you'll find the car of your dreams.
